Asahi Beverages is partnering with two of Australia’s leading charities to help deliver vital support to vulnerable members of the community. Asahi Beverages will provide more than $1 million in funding to OzHarvest and Rural Aid over the next three years, enabling them to help more people and build greater resilience in communities nation-wide.
Asahi Beverages has unveiled a new $60m canning line at Australia’s biggest brewery at Yatala, Queensland to meet the growing demand for cans over stubbies. Up to 400 million cans of Australia’s best beers will roll off the new line each year, including Great Northern, Victoria Bitter and Carlton Dry.
Asahi Beverages is pleased to announce the appointment of Nigel Parsons as Chief Commercial Officer, commencing on 1 April 2025. This is a new role at Asahi Beverages, with the Chief Commercial Officer to have responsibility for the Group’s commercial and sales functions across Australia and New Zealand, covering alcohol and non-alcohol. Our donation to the Foundation for National Parks & Wildlife will now not be used to buy land to add to national parks. Our donation will instead be used for the preservation of endangered species.
Australia’s leading beverages company Asahi Beverages has entered a landmark new partnership with the Australian Turf Club. Under a multi-year deal, the partnership will see punters cheer on a winner at some of Australia’s best race days, such as The TAB Everest and TAB Golden Slipper, while enjoying alcohol beverages including Asahi Super Dry, Balter, 4Pines, Vodka Cruiser and popular mid-strength offerings such as Great Northern Super Crisp. Beloved Aussie spread, VEGEMITE, is proud to be supporting Foodbank – Australia’s largest food relief organisation – by supplying 436,000 150g VEGEMITE jars with assistance from its partners to help communities facing food insecurity. Japan’s number one beer Asahi Super Dry is continuing its successful partnership with Rugby World Cup by becoming Official Beer and Principal Partner of all tournaments until 2029 including Women’s Rugby World Cup England 2025 and Australia 2029 as well as Men’s Rugby World Cup Australia 2027. The announcement follows the exceptional success of Rugby World Cup 2023 in France, where Asahi Super Dry delivered an impressive five million pints to rugby fans.

Asahi Beverages has acquired super-premium distillery Never Never, one of Australia’s most highly-awarded gin brands, which has grown rapidly since its inception. Never Never launched in 2016 when three mates - George Georgiadis, Tim Boast and Sean Baxter - turned their passion into a business and started distilling gin out of an Adelaide shed. The brand has since picked up a number of awards – including World’s Best at the World Gin Awards and three consecutive wins as Champion Australian Distiller at the Australian Distilled Spirits Awards.
