Grocery, Petrol & Convenience (GPC) · Southern Perth Metro
Your Impact
As a Business Development Executive within our Grocery, Petrol & Convenience channel, you’ll play a key role in driving growth across a diverse territory of independent grocery stores, petrol & convenience outlets, and route retailers throughout Perth’s southern metro corridor — spanning from Bentley in the north through to Byford in the south, Kalamunda in the east and Palmyra in the west.
You’ll build strong customer relationships, drive execution excellence in store, and ensure Asahi Beverages’ portfolio is positioned for success across a fast-paced and highly competitive channel. This is a highly autonomous field-based role where your ability to influence, execute and identify growth opportunities will directly impact territory performance.
Key Accountabilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with independent grocery, petrol & convenience customers across your territory
- Drive distribution, visibility, volume growth, and profitability across Asahi’s portfolio within store
- Execute promotional activity, pricing, and point of sale material to maximise brand presence and compliance
- Identify opportunities to grow ranging, displays, cold space, and in-store execution
- Deliver structured call cycles and maintain a disciplined approach to territory planning and customer management
- Analyse store performance data and provide insights to support ongoing sales growth
- Collaborate closely with the wider Asahi commercial team to drive the One Asahi strategy across the channel
- Ensure all activity is completed in line with company standards, safety requirements, and compliance expectations
About You
- Previous field sales experience within FMCG, grocery, convenience, liquor, or a related industry
- Strong relationship-building and communication skills with the ability to influence a broad customer base
- Highly organised with a structured and data-driven approach to territory management
- Self-motivated and comfortable working autonomously in a fast-paced field environment
- A passion for sales, customer engagement, and delivering strong in-store execution
- Resilient, energetic, and driven to achieve and exceed sales targets
- Full Australian driver’s licence required
