Innovation Manager - Strategic NPD Projects

Your Impact

We are seeking an experienced Innovation Manager – Strategic NPD Projects to join the team on a fixed term, 8-month contract. In this role, you will lead the delivery and project management of innovation, product and packaging initiatives that drive growth and support key business objectives. Working cross-functionally, you will manage multiple projects through the full new product development lifecycle, ensuring milestones, timelines and commercial outcomes are achieved.

 

Key Accountabilities

 

• Lead NPD and packaging projects through the full lifecycle from concept to launch, including sustainability, value optimisation and deletion projects
• Manage multiple projects through the stage and gate process, ensuring milestones, timelines and quality requirements are met
• Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders across Marketing, Sales, Finance, Production and Supply Chain
• Manage project budgets, timelines, risk profiles and reporting to ensure successful delivery
• Support go-to-market planning and launch execution in partnership with shopper, sales and marketing teams
• Work with internal stakeholders and external suppliers throughout concept development, testing and implementation
• Drive continuous improvement across NPD systems, processes and ways of working

 

About You

 

• Degree qualified in Business, Communications, Arts or similar
• Solid experience NPD project management 
• FMCG industry experience is essential
• Capability in the development of commercial business cases
• Solid experience in a commercially led function, with cross-functional experience across Sales, Marketing and Finance
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Strong organisation, accountability, urgency and follow-through
